Michael Ruffles is an award-winning journalist who has worked in newspapers in Australia and Southeast Asia since roughly the turn of the century.
Until late 2016, he was the chief sub-editor of the Bangkok Post Sunday and its acclaimed Spectrum and Brunch liftouts. Before that he worked as a reporter, sub-editor and columnist at various Fairfax papers in Australia for a decade. He has also been a correspondent for TTGasia publications and contributor to Policy Forum.
He is now based in Sydney.
